Sunset was amazing. Waves crashing on the breakwaters with the islands in the distance. We watched people playing with their dogs. Free parking. They are still replenishing the beach but there are areas to enjoy the view

I visited it in December so it was windy and chilly. But it must be a great place to visit in summer. The beach looks clean, there is large parking and restrooms. The ocean view is great.

I love this beach area for our little ones! It doesn't have big waves and I'm ok with the kids skimming the waterline.

It is a very clean beach guarded by lifeguards. It is a very good beach for families given the fact that it is guarded by the break water makes the waves very small. The only complaint is just how EXTREMELY CROWDED the beach is.

This is a beautiful, relaxing beach for dog lovers, their dogs, and everyone in the family! Our dog took a nap and socialized:) Arrive early for the best free beach parking or park on the street and walk 5-10 minutes.

Free parking and people can bring their dogs here. Very beautiful beach and bay.

You can see why they call this mother's Beach, because it's a great safe place to bring your kids where you don't have to be worried about them being swept out to sea.
